It’s been a busy time at Lady and the Carpenter
We are busy getting ready for the Spring. In our new line up of new products are French Style Rolling Pins. Along with these beauties we launching 4 new products in the next two weeks and next week we will be a vendor at the Portland Home and Garden Show. If you are close to Portland we would LOVE for you to come say hi. We will be at booth 1833
The Carpenter wanted to share how he makes square stock into round dowels using a drill and a router.
This is one of the first steps we use in making rolling pins.
It will be a fun next couple weeks so stay tuned.

The Carpenter has been busy making some beautiful French Rolling Pins. I LOVE LOVE mine. I find they are much easier than the handle style pins. So, I followed Julia Child’s example and threw my old handled rolling pin away.
I love the figured wood pattern. The pictures don’t do the shimmering grain justice.
Hope you are all enjoying these last days of winter. I love the small gardening break but I also love the planning and dreaming that comes in this season.
