WE ARE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN! YA!
A while back we realized our webpage setup was not going to work well with our business/blogging goals so we decided to convert the site. If you have tried accessing anything in the last couple days you have seen that there have been some bumps in the road.
There are a few small things that still need fixed. However, the business side is still on track and all orders are still going out on time. Any order placed before December 18th will be delivered by December 24th.
So to share part of the journey… it has been a crazy ride so far…
This last week we were working on the website conversions and I thought disaster hit. I looked around and nothing worked! NOO!!!
You have to remember I am far from a computer expert and I had no idea if it was going to be fixed or it was start over time. I was a bit concerned that 9 months of work might have been messed up. I was so frustrated tears started to come (that is never a good thing) Â I took a deep breath, didn’t throw the computer, managed not to use profanity in the front of my children and walked away…
After a day of the deer in headlights look, I remembered that God took us this far and He would be there with me whatever the future journey entailed. Take a deep breath and trust. Worry doesn’t fix things. It only robs you of the present.
Got up this morning, went to online chat mode with my host (bracing myself for them to ask me a question that I had no clue how to answer) and after telling them the problem it was fixed within a few minutes. Lesson learned, go chat with the tech guys right away.
So happy!!!! YEAH!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!Happy dance! Shout it from the mountains!!!
Okay, I didn’t shout. After all it was 5 am and I am usually unconscious at this point in the morning. Didn’t want to give the Carpenter a heart attack.
All that being said, There are a few things that still need fixed. I have  a few posts that didn’t make the transition and we will be working on integrating a new store layout. You will keep seeing little changes.
It has been a crazy journey and If you had told me a couple years ago that I would be doing this I would have looked at you like you had sprouted a second head. Despite the bumps, so far it has been a fun, crazy journey. Thanks for riding along.
