Being in the Pacific Northwest, we are not used to being in hot weather. Though I am not an experienced camper, I am an avid researcher. I didn’t find a whole lot on the internet about it other than “don’t get dehydrated”. So, I figured I would share what we have learned in this last two years of camping in 90-100 degree weather.
It’s been quite a while since I have had time to get on here and write. Life has been crazy busy. I feel like the summer is half gone and I just noticed. However, I finally find myself with a day that I blog and garden. YA!
So, What have we been up to??
It’s pretty busy here around here with the garden, closing up homeschooling for the year, normal chores and clothespins. Oh yes, LOTS of clothespins…
Well, the last couple weeks has just been crazy around here. I have to say that spring/planting time is one of the busiest times for me. This year it has been even more so with the business. Spring for us is a time to not only plant but it is time to wrap up our homeschooling year.
When the plants start to come alive and the bees are buzzing in my apple tree and raspberry plants (makes me smile)… Well, it’s not just the kids that have a hard time focusing on school…. [Read more…]
I have been growing some flower seeds in a little mini greenhouse.
I didn’t want to give my newly growing plants a swimming lesson, but I also didn’t want to go buy a spray bottle so I improvised….
